In 2006, I was thrilled to find a couple of old, circa 1940s, pot covers once used to stack pots on top of pots in an effort to save room on stoves while keeping food warm. I made each into a most unusual switch plate and offered them as limited editions.
They sold, not surprisingly, immediately!
